December 18th, 1:00 pm & 6:30 pm

On December 17 and 18, the students will be spending the majority of their day at Red Deer College, either rehearsing or performing.  They will need to bring their lunches with them. After the afternoon rehearsal/performance, the students will need to go directly to their busses so we can have them back at the school for dismissal at the end of the day.  

If you are attending the afternoon performance, on December 18,  here are some tips from the RDC facility lead:

 Please remember your license plate number for the payment at the Pay station.
 Pay station accepts only Visa/Mastercard or $1 & $2 (coins only)
 Parking Rates:
*Public East/West & Gary W Harris - Effective weekdays: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM | $2.00/hour to max of $10.00/day. 

Consider arriving 15-20 minutes early, as traffic can bottleneck quickly and access to the campus can take longer than anticipated.
Carpooling is encouraged, as the public parking spots will be limited and Gary W Harris parking lot will be the alternative. 

All students are needed back for the evening performances both nights, with the exception of Kinders, who will only attend on their assigned night.  There will be no charge for parking for the evening shows; however, please arrive early, as traffic can back up with a rush hour. 


Performances take place on the evening of December 17 and 18 from 6:30 pm until about 7:30 pm and the afternoon of December 18 at 1:00 pm. KTT Kindergarten will perform Dec 17 and KWF will perform on Dec 18. All other students will perform both days. This will give them excellent learning and growth opportunity. It is important that your child attend these performances as it is part of their Fine Arts education. Please contact your child’s homeroom teacher if they will be missing a performance. 

Students who are not in the cast or crew will need to be dropped off at RDC between 5:45-6:00 pm the evenings of the performances. Students in the cast and crew need to arrive at 5:30 pm both evenings.  Please sign your child in at Studio A for K-2 students and Studio B for Gr 3-5 students. There is no required costume for any of the class songs. Your child may dress up or wear something “Christmas” themed if you like. Please have your child bring quiet and simple activities such as books, coloring, etc for the times when they are not on stage. Please do not send electronics. 

After the performance please come to either Studio A (K-2) or B (Gr 3-5) to sign your child out. Please be patient as staff work to make sure every child is safely signed out and matched up to a parent or guardian. It is a small area so we ask that just one parent/ guardian come and collect your child.

Thank you again for supporting your child’s Fine Arts education and thank you especially to our donors so far. If you would still like to donate, ushers will be accepting further cash donations at the performances. If further tickets are required, please contact our main office.
